In New York, there are several qualifying conditions that allow one to become certified for the medical Marijuana program. Several severe diagnoses such as Cancer, HIV, Parkinson’s and Fibromyalgia are qualifying conditions. The most common conditions reported are typically Chronic pain and PTSD. Conditions like chronic pain can include arthritis, migraines, herniated disks, and neuropathic pain. It is up to the certifying practitioner whether you meet the criteria for a qualifying condition. In the near future, practitioners will be allowed more leeway with recommendations and won’t be beholden to a list specifically.

  1. Thanks for another informative site. Where else could I get that type of information written in such a perfect way? I have a project that I am just now working on, and I have been on the look out for such info.

    • Thank you for the compliment. There is a lot of research out there on Cannabis as a therapeutic tool. We worked with a specialist that does Cannabis oriented blogs with research and keywords plugged in. What subject are you looking to blog about and what are your interests specifically?
